About the Destination
Hanioti, also spelled Chaniotis, is one of the most popular family resort villages on the Kassandra peninsula in Halkidiki. It has a long sandy beach with a blue-flag certification, a walkable central square with tavernas and shops, and a calm atmosphere compared to neighbouring Kallithea.
The drive from Thessaloniki Airport follows the Egnatia Odos westbound, then turns south onto the Halkidiki coastal road past Nea Moudania, Kallithea, and Pefkohori before reaching Hanioti about halfway down the eastern Kassandra coast.
